This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.
• Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of grants, which includes reviewing applications, monitoring compliance, tracking reporting, and managing finances.
• Evaluate grant proposals and budgets to determine feasibility and alignment with the organization's objectives and funding criteria.
• Ensure adherence to grant regulations, donor expectations, and internal policies while implementing best practices in grant management.
• Create comprehensive reports and presentations detailing grant performance, financial status, and compliance, along with suggestions for enhancements.
• Work collaboratively with finance, program managers, and external partners on activities and initiatives related to grants.
• Track and assess grant trends, funding opportunities, and regulatory changes to guide strategic decision-making.
• Offer mentorship and training to junior grants analysts.
• Assist in promoting continuous improvement initiatives within the grants team.
• Leverage site start-up and activation experience to ensure high-quality outcomes and mentor colleagues.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Significant experience in grants management and analysis.
• A proven history of managing and enhancing grant administration processes.
• In-depth knowledge of grant regulations, donor requirements, and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in reviewing intricate grant proposals and evaluating budgets.
• Proficient in grants management software and financial reporting tools.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for managing stakeholder relationships.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to handle multiple grants and priorities at once.
• Experience in site start-up and activation.
• Capability to work independently and provide guidance to others.
• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
