This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create sponsored research awards in eGrants in alignment with sponsor terms and conditions, institutional policies, and relevant federal regulations.
• Analyze and interpret finalized award notices, contracts, and sponsor documentation to ascertain requirements and non-financial deliverables.
• Execute complex post-award actions, including continuations, supplements, amendments, carryforwards, no-cost extensions, and other changes to awards.
• Ensure timely and precise maintenance of award records.
• Work collaboratively with Compliance Managers to uphold the accuracy and integrity of award data.
• Address discrepancies and implement corrective measures to support institutional and sponsor compliance.
• Oversee the setup of outgoing subawards in eGrants, including MTDC indirect cost calculations.
• Provide assistance during Uniform Guidance audits, sponsor desk audits, and other compliance reviews.
• Evaluate and manage incoming requests through the Award Data Management PDL and prioritize sponsor communications via the SponsorP mailbox.
• Support ERP implementation and system optimization efforts, encompassing data cleanup and the resolution of system integration challenges.
• Document new business processes by establishing standard operating procedures and designing workflows for operational enhancements.
• Report directly to the Manager of Research and Project Administration.
• 3–5 years of experience in the administration of sponsored programs.
• In-depth knowledge of research compliance requirements and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200).
• Familiarity with electronic research administration systems, ideally Huron eGrants.
• High proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and follow-through.
• Capability to run system queries to produce ad hoc reports of intermediate complexity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and accurately apply Facilities and Administrative (F&A) rates according to sponsor and institutional requirements.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with sound judgment and discretion.
