This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Review, draft, and manage contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, and other contractual documents.
• Provide support throughout the entire contract lifecycle, which includes proposal assistance, negotiation, award, administration, modification, and closeout.
• Ensure adherence to FAR, DFARS, and other federal contracting regulations.
• Keep precise contract records, files, and documentation within contract management systems.
• Collaborate with business development, finance, HR, program management, and external partners.
• Monitor contract deliverables, modifications, option periods, and significant milestones.
• Assist in reviewing solicitations, contract terms, and risk assessments during the proposal stage.
• Oversee subcontractor agreements and confirm subcontract compliance with prime contract stipulations.
• Support audits and reporting obligations associated with contract administration.
• Identify contractual risks and escalate concerns to leadership.
• Aid in enhancing internal contract processes and documentation.
• Contribute to federal mission-driven programs within a collaborative team setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 4-10 years of experience in contract administration, government contracting, or a comparable role.
• Experience dealing with federal government contracts.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines concurrently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Preferred: Experience in a federal contracting environment.
• Preferred: Background in supporting IT, cybersecurity, health tech, or professional services contracts.
• Preferred: Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems.
• Preferred: Experience with subcontract administration.
• Preferred: Professional certifications such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM).
