Senior Government Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Assist in the preparation of the Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP) and Disclosure Statement (DS).

• Provide support for internal and external audits associated with FPRP, DS, Cost Accounting Standards, and Business Systems.

• Manage rate tables and financial information supporting proposals.

• Aid in ad hoc requests, analysis, and special projects focused on compliance matters.

• Develop and maintain process documentation.

• Prepare and deliver compliance-related training sessions.

• Collaborate with Financial Planning and Analysis, Cost Planning, Accounting, Compliance Points of Contact, and external government clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 6 years of relevant experience; or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or, alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• Over 3 years of experience in compliance, program finance, accounting, or financial planning within the aerospace/government contracting sector.

• More than 3 years of experience in interpreting and applying FAR, DFARS, and CAS.

• At least 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

• Exceptional analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
