Senior Global SEO/GEO Strategist

📋 Description

• Develop, oversee, and implement global SEO and GEO strategies that align with business, marketing, and pipeline growth goals.

• Enhance content and digital experiences for both traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and other emerging AI search technologies.

• Serve as the main point of contact between web marketing teams, SEO agencies, regional stakeholders, content teams, and business leaders to ensure cohesive search strategy and execution.

• Conduct keyword, topic cluster, entity, and competitive research to uncover new growth opportunities, authority, and discoverability.

• Monitor and assess performance across platforms including Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Conductor, and other SEO tools.

• Generate technical SEO analyses and recommendations concerning site architecture, crawlability, indexing, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and overall search performance.

• Regularly review and enhance on-page SEO elements, content structure, internal linking strategies, and user engagement metrics.

• Collaborate with Campaigns, Content, and Product Marketing teams to develop search-optimized and AI-friendly content that aligns with customer journeys and business objectives.

• Adjust requirements, priorities, and best practices in light of search engine algorithm updates, AI search advancements, and shifting digital marketing trends.

• Create frameworks to evaluate AI search visibility, citation frequency, answer engine performance, and overall GEO effectiveness.

• Prepare executive-level reports and communicate strategic insights, opportunities, and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Mentor team members and act as a subject matter expert in SEO, GEO, search trends, and digital discoverability.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of web engagement strategies, user experience, and organic growth initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, content strategy, or a related field, ideally within a SaaS or technology organization.

• In-depth knowledge of technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, keyword research, analytics, and measurement of search performance.

• Strong grasp of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), AI-powered search experiences, and new search technologies.

• Practical experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Scalenut, Screaming Frog, or comparable enterprise SEO platforms.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, website architecture, and best practices in technical SEO.

• Demonstrated capability to independently identify opportunities, resolve complex issues, and drive strategic recommendations.

• Strong analytical abilities with the skill to convert data into actionable business insights.

• Experience in influencing cross-functional stakeholders and achieving alignment across global teams.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and a dedication to excellence.

• Enthusiastic about staying ahead of industry trends, search innovations, and AI-driven discovery experiences.

• Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution in a fast-paced environment.
