This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Act as a gas-phase polyethylene (GPPE) process technology design engineer for optimization during and post licensed plant startups.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of product offerings, reactor technology, and capacity solutions, leading technical aspects of license proposals globally.
• Support process technology initiatives and collaborate with projects to ensure the consistent application of core technology.
• Create, standardize, and uphold technology guidelines and associated documentation, including Commissioning Guidelines, Training Packages, and Project Manuals.
• Serve as the primary company liaison for product partners engaged in ECIG licensed technology.
• Function as a Senior Process Design Engineer on designated projects and proposals.
• Utilize GPPE process technology and operational expertise to address intricate engineering and design challenges.
• Engage in plant startup and warranty run projects, analyzing and refining reactor models based on plant performance data.
• Develop cost-efficient CAPEX and OPEX enhancements for ECIG's foundational GPPE offerings.
• Ensure that ECIG GPPE technology respects third-party intellectual property rights while securing adequate protection for company offerings.
• Confirm that GPPE technology solutions comply with safety, operability, and performance warranties.
• A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is mandatory.
• Over 10 years of experience in GPPE reactor modeling and/or GPPE reactor unit operation process engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in GPPE plant operations is preferred.
• Proven expertise in advanced process simulation tools and engineering software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to oversee complex projects and achieve results within specified timeframes and budget limits.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Currently eligible to work in the US without the need for sponsorship.
• Initial engagement with an anticipated contract duration of 6 months.
