Senior Fundraising Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Delivers direct services to a diverse range of nonprofit clients with essential missions, primarily in the Higher Education, Healthcare, Independent School, and Social & Global Impact sectors.

• Offers strategic guidance and hands-on execution to collaborate with clients in achieving their goals and surpassing expectations.

• Demonstrates a strong commitment to the firm’s core values, its “one firm-firm” brand, and Our Why.

• Acts as a model for Graham-Pelton’s approach to “responsible consulting.”

• Cultivates vital relationships with clients as well as Graham-Pelton colleagues.

• Nurtures key connections with team members assigned to specific projects.

• Exhibits proficiency in the firm's technological tools.

• Prepares, develops, and presents materials for client engagement.

• Provides both on-site and remote services to designated clients.

• Leads and facilitates regular conference calls and meetings with clients and the project team, coordinating the team's efforts.

• Participates in and contributes to important meetings with clients and potential clients.

• Organizes and drives the work of internal project teams, ensuring progress toward project milestones and finalization.

• Collaborates with project teams to guarantee that client-related communications align with the firm’s objectives.

• Offers strategic advice to enhance service engagement.

• Provides essential support for sales initiatives.

• Identifies opportunities for ongoing service or new engagements, utilizing personal and client referrals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• At least 5 years of prior nonprofit fundraising or development experience in one of Graham-Pelton's key sectors: Healthcare, Higher Education, Independent Schools, or Social & Global Impact.

• Willingness to travel (a driver's license is required).
