Senior Functional Consultant, D365 CE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect requirements and document business processes.

• Set up Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform features.

• Engage in discovery and design sessions to gather requirements, process needs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and configuration decisions.

• Configure model-driven applications, tables, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, business process flows, queues, routing, security roles, and basic automation.

• Assist Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights, and related CE/CX capabilities.

• Develop functional design documents, process flows, configuration workbooks, test scripts, training materials, and user adoption content.

• Ensure requirements traceability throughout discovery, design, configuration, testing, UAT, and training materials.

• Aid in backlog refinement, sprint demonstrations, CRP/UAT planning, test execution, defect triage, release readiness, go-live support, and hypercare.

• Collaborate with technical consultants on integrations, data migration, reporting, security, and custom extensions.

• Assess standard functionality against customization and escalate scope, adoption, data, and process risks.

• Mentor junior resources as needed and manage defined workstreams with limited supervision.

• Stay informed about Microsoft Copilot, embedded intelligence, Power BI, and automation features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in implementing or supporting Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights, or similar CRM platforms.

• Proficient understanding of Dataverse, model-driven applications, Power Automate, dashboards, basic reporting, Microsoft 365 integration, and user security concepts.

• Capable of producing clear documentation, managing assigned tasks, communicating status updates, and collaborating effectively with clients and internal teams.

• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies, user stories, acceptance criteria, test management, training, and change/adoption fundamentals.

• Preferred certifications include PL-200; MB-280, MB-230, MB-240, or related CE module certifications.
