Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that facilitate GTM and growth platforms.

• Engage in full-stack contributions, including frontend tasks, when a feature or project necessitates it.

• Provide input on the technical direction for systems under your ownership, addressing build-versus-buy considerations and balancing speed with maintainability.

• Detect and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, or reliability in backend systems.

• Evaluate code and designs from fellow engineers, offering constructive peer feedback.

• Guide and mentor junior engineers.

• Document architectural decisions and system design for backend infrastructure.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Design, and Content teams to translate business and campaign objectives into dependable technical implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing backend systems in production environments.

• Strong full-stack technical capabilities with expertise in Vue, Node, Go, and Ruby.

• Extensive background in backend service design, encompassing API design, data modeling, and optimizing database performance.

• History of making informed technical trade-offs independently.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing campaign or launch priorities.

• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce architecture proposals and design documentation.

• A practical and proactive attitude towards collaboration.

• Relevant experience from related fields such as platform, data, or product engineering is encouraged.

• Familiarity with building marketing, growth, or GTM engineering systems is preferred.

• Experience in a remote-first or distributed work setting is a plus.

• Previous mentoring experience and influence on technical direction is advantageous.
