This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.
β’ Take full ownership of feature delivery from start to finish, encompassing frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
β’ Lead the technical direction and architecture while actively contributing hands-on.
β’ Create workplace solutions that include desk booking, room scheduling, visitor management, analytics, and interactive floorplans.
β’ Design and manage integrations with platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Teams, and Stripe.
β’ Oversee and enhance GCP infrastructure, focusing on deployments, monitoring, performance, security, and reliability.
β’ Modernize a well-established enterprise platform while ensuring customer-facing reliability is maintained.
β’ Collaborate directly with enterprise customers to grasp requirements and deliver promptly.
β’ Establish engineering standards, mentor engineers, and contribute to team expansion as hiring progresses.
β’ Maintain broad ownership of the platform and autonomously enhance systems.
β’ Over 7 years of experience in developing production SaaS applications.
β’ Proficient in React and TypeScript.
β’ Strong expertise in Node.js.
β’ Comfortable working with Python and Django.
β’ Experience in building and managing multi-tenant SaaS solutions in production using MySQL or a similar relational database.
β’ Solid foundation in secure API design.
β’ Experience managing production cloud infrastructure; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is preferred, though transferable experience with AWS or Azure is acceptable.
β’ Proven ability to manage production incidents from alerting to resolution.
β’ Hands-on experience across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and customer interactions.
β’ Familiarity with integrating LLMs or AI functionalities into production applications.
β’ Proficiency in English, with a minimum C1 level.
β’ Nice-to-haves: Experience with Google Workspace APIs, Microsoft Graph, or other enterprise collaboration tools.
