Senior Fullstack Engineer – all genders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• At chargecloud, we don't merely write code; we create the digital foundation for the e-mobility transition. This is not a greenfield position.

• You will become a part of the team responsible for our billing domain, which acts as the digital engine room of our business.

• This area of our platform is among the most intricate and vital, where your contributions will have a direct and immediate effect.

• We seek a proactive fullstack engineer who embraces complexity and possesses the vision to advance a core product.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to transform an initial idea into a high-quality, scalable solution in a business-critical area.

• Connect our Symfony backend with a reactive Nuxt.js frontend, ensuring our APIs (PHP/TypeScript) are efficient and developer-friendly on both ends.

• Make practical, high-impact enhancements to our existing architecture. You recognize that delivering incremental value to users is more critical than waiting for a perfect, greenfield rewrite.

• Advocate for quality as an integral part of the development process, rather than an afterthought. You will utilize testing, CI, and code review as tools for improving speed and reliability.

• Actively harness AI to enhance your productivity. We are looking for someone who takes initiative in mastering new tools to work more efficiently and intelligently, using AI to refine your judgment, not to replace it.

• Elevate the standards for those around you, voicing concerns when something is amiss and viewing constructive feedback as a means for growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• You hold a degree in Computer Science or a relevant qualification that forms your technical groundwork.

• You possess several years of full-stack experience, excelling in backend development with PHP (Symfony) and frontend development with Vue/Nuxt.

• You advocate for delivering iterative improvements instead of over-engineering solutions. You appreciate that having a functioning product in users' hands is significantly more valuable than an impeccable design that remains incomplete.

• You thrive in uncertain and complex settings, leveraging your experience with mature or tightly-coupled systems to implement pragmatic enhancements rather than waiting for perfect conditions.

• You evaluate technical decisions based on customer value and business impact, rather than just aesthetics, ensuring your efforts align with the core intent behind each feature.

• You have a keen interest in AI – actively exploring and utilizing AI tools and techniques in your daily engineering tasks.

• You are fluent in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
