Senior FullStack Developer, PHP, JavaScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend solutions for our e-commerce platform and internal applications.

• Build and sustain features utilizing modern JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, and Shopify technologies.

• Integrate with Shopify Storefront APIs and backend services as necessary.

• Work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

• Assume responsibility for projects from planning to implementation, proactively identifying risks, eliminating blockers, and driving tasks to completion.

• Engage in architectural discussions and continually enhance engineering practices, code quality, performance, and maintainability.

• Decompose complex initiatives into manageable, deliverable work while upholding high standards of quality.

• Actively participate in technical discussions, stand-ups, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Mentor fellow engineers through exemplary technical leadership, collaboration, and commitment to code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing complex web applications as a Full Stack Engineer.

• Strong proficiency in object-oriented JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Solid backend development experience with PHP (Laravel preferred).

• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Proficient in working across frontend and backend technologies in modern web applications.

• Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.

• Proven ownership mentality, proactively driving initiatives and resolving issues with minimal oversight.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working directly with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

• Comfortable with active engagement during remote collaboration, including participation in team meetings and technical discussions.

• Experience in startup or high-growth environments is highly preferred.
