Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – PHP, Laravel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Join DaCodes as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer.

• Design, create, and sustain scalable full-stack web applications.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and reusable code adhering to object-oriented programming standards.

• Collaborate with a distributed engineering team within an Agile framework.

• Engage in both backend and frontend development throughout the application stack.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and enhance application performance.

• Take part in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Acquire knowledge and work with PHP/Laravel as necessary within the existing technology stack.

• Strive for continual improvements in code quality, performance, and maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of full-stack software development experience.

• In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining contemporary web applications.

• Proficient English communication skills (client-facing role).

• Availability to work during business hours in the Central or Pacific Time Zone.

• Commitment to a 4–6 month contract.

• Experience with PHP (Laravel experience is a significant advantage, but not mandatory).

• Strong proficiency in Python development.

• Solid experience in Node.js development.

• Familiarity with Agile software development practices.

• Willingness to learn and utilize Laravel if transitioning from another object-oriented framework.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote settings.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and focused on quality.

• Adaptable and comfortable working within fast-paced development teams.
