Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer – Global

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain high-quality web applications utilizing TypeScript, Node.js, and frameworks like React, Next.js, or NestJS.

• Play a key role in transforming CINC’s architecture from a monolithic structure to modular microservices, employing effective system design principles and domain-driven design.

• Create and utilize RESTful and GraphQL APIs, demonstrating a thorough understanding of service boundaries, contract design, and versioning.

• Execute event-driven and message-oriented integrations to enhance scalability, resilience, and decoupling.

• Employ modern engineering methodologies such as automated testing, CI/CD, and principles of continuous delivery.

• Collaborate with design and product teams to convert intricate requirements into straightforward, user-friendly features.

• Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and iterative delivery by adhering to Extreme Programming (XP) principles.

• Support AI-enhanced workflows by incorporating APIs or shared AI services into user-facing functionalities when suitable.

• Mentor and advise engineers on best practices related to system design, testing, and clean coding standards.

• Participate in technical discussions concerning architecture, reliability, and performance to guarantee quality and scalability across systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software engineering focused on building production web applications or SaaS products.

• Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript, with expertise in frameworks such as React, Next.js, or NestJS.

• Strong grasp of backend architecture, including the decomposition of monoliths, microservice principles, and best practices in API design.

• Experience in designing and maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs, complete with clear contracts and documentation.

• Familiarity with contemporary DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, observability, and containerized deployments.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Solid background in automated testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD).

• Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate design choices and technical trade-offs to engineers, product managers, and designers.

• Proven ability to take ownership of features from conception to deployment, balancing speed and quality.

• Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and contributing to architectural discussions and reviews.

• A learning-oriented mindset with a curiosity for new frameworks, design patterns, and AI-driven development.

• Experience with integrating AI-powered services such as chatbots, copilots, or search assistants (Nice to Have).
