This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.
β’ Develop scalable software solutions utilizing technologies and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, and C#.
β’ Engage in all phases of software development, encompassing front-end, back-end, database integrations, network and hosting management, UI/UX, and back-end server management.
β’ Collaborate with developers who specialize in frontend technologies, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems.
β’ Design, develop, test, implement, and provide support for technical solutions within Agile teams.
β’ Build on cloud-native stacks using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, along with technologies like Kubernetes.
β’ Craft effective REST APIs and technical documentation.
β’ Create automated test cases to ensure correctness, responsiveness, and efficiency.
β’ Shape technical direction during the discovery, planning, implementation, project, initiative, and maintenance phases.
β’ Uphold modern development standards, best practices, and processes.
β’ Make decisions regarding moderately complex to complex technical strategies and influence departmental direction.
β’ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a combination of education and relevant IT experience.
β’ Over 4 years of experience in Python programming.
β’ More than 4 years of experience in software engineering.
β’ At least 2 years of experience with one of the following frameworks: Angular, React, or Vue.js.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of experience with either Java or Node.js.
β’ At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or another cloud service.
β’ A minimum of 1 year of experience in building micro frontends and/or microservices.
β’ Must reside in Chicago, IL; the DC/Baltimore Metro area; Louisville, KY; or Dallas/Frisco, TX.
β’ Minimum internet speeds of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload for remote work arrangements.
β’ A dedicated workspace that ensures no ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
β’ Preferred: Master's Degree.
β’ Preferred: Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure, domain-driven microservices, cloud-native technologies, SASS, W3C Web Standards, web performance, cross-browser compatibility, web modular design patterns, and advanced content management best practices.
