Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable software solutions utilizing technologies and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, and C#.

• Engage in all phases of software development, encompassing front-end, back-end, database integrations, network and hosting management, UI/UX, and back-end server management.

• Collaborate with developers who specialize in frontend technologies, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems.

• Design, develop, test, implement, and provide support for technical solutions within Agile teams.

• Build on cloud-native stacks using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, along with technologies like Kubernetes.

• Craft effective REST APIs and technical documentation.

• Create automated test cases to ensure correctness, responsiveness, and efficiency.

• Shape technical direction during the discovery, planning, implementation, project, initiative, and maintenance phases.

• Uphold modern development standards, best practices, and processes.

• Make decisions regarding moderately complex to complex technical strategies and influence departmental direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a combination of education and relevant IT experience.

• Over 4 years of experience in Python programming.

• More than 4 years of experience in software engineering.

• At least 2 years of experience with one of the following frameworks: Angular, React, or Vue.js.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with either Java or Node.js.

• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or another cloud service.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in building micro frontends and/or microservices.

• Must reside in Chicago, IL; the DC/Baltimore Metro area; Louisville, KY; or Dallas/Frisco, TX.

• Minimum internet speeds of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload for remote work arrangements.

• A dedicated workspace that ensures no ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Preferred: Master's Degree.

• Preferred: Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure, domain-driven microservices, cloud-native technologies, SASS, W3C Web Standards, web performance, cross-browser compatibility, web modular design patterns, and advanced content management best practices.
