This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable applications within an Azure cloud environment.

• Construct full-stack solutions utilizing Python, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and microservice architectures.

• Modify and enhance existing applications through coding and conducting pull request reviews.

• Design and integrate AI-driven functionalities, including LLM integrations, RAG, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation.

• Maintain AI orchestration and inference pipelines, focusing on performance, cost efficiency, observability, and responsible usage.

• Implement testing, monitoring, CI/CD, observability, and secure SDLC practices in production systems.

• Assess emerging AI tools and frameworks while utilizing AI-assisted development tools.

• Ensure data privacy, security, governance, and compliance for AI-enabled features.

• Define and prioritize objectives and tasks within an agile product environment.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and stakeholders on design, production troubleshooting, and sustainable solutions.

• Mentor engineers on software engineering, cloud-native architecture, and AI integration methodologies.

• Propose solutions to complex challenges, build consensus, and guide technical direction.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software development experience with Python and building cloud-native applications in Azure.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and application architecture.

• Experience in designing and utilizing REST APIs.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL.

• Proven experience in conducting code reviews and mentoring engineers.

• Experience in Agile development settings.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and contemporary software development best practices.

• Experience in integrating AI functionalities like Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, or vector databases.

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging platforms.

• Experience with application observability using OpenTelemetry.

• Docker and Kubernetes experience is preferred.

• Excellent communication abilities and skills for cross-functional collaboration.

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or a willingness to learn it.
