Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and maintain backend code to support features utilized by our 5 million users.

• Engage in backend development using Typescript.

• Actively participate in code reviews and other team activities.

• Provide technical leadership and assist in steering the team’s overall technical direction.

• Offer mentorship and collaborate with other engineers on a regular basis.

• Collaborate closely with our PM and design teams to define feature specifications and develop products using frameworks such as React.js & React Native.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field. Other disciplines will be considered if accompanied by relevant experience and/or training.

• Over 4 years of software engineering experience in building full-stack applications.

• Strong foundational knowledge in computer science and excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to JavaScript, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go.

• Familiarity with modern UI frameworks to develop user-centric interfaces.

• Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to provide and accept constructive feedback.

• Knowledge of monitoring and metric tools.

• Experience in an Agile development environment.

• Ability to discuss and elucidate system architecture and component design.

• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Nice to Have: Experience with Node.js.

• Nice to Have: Experience in developing production mobile applications using React Native.

• Nice to Have: Experience in a start-up environment.
