This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead full-stack product and operational projects from problem identification through to implementation, launch, and validation in production.
• Transform unclear requirements into actionable plans, milestones, and deliverable increments.
• Develop and sustain dependable applications utilizing Django and TypeScript.
• Make informed decisions regarding architecture, data models, APIs, integrations, testing, security, and production operations.
• Employ AI tools throughout the phases of investigation, development, testing, debugging, and review.
• Rigorously assess AI-assisted tasks and apply direct engineering judgment as needed.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, and other stakeholders to define challenges and successful outcomes.
• Actively communicate progress, decisions, risks, and obstacles.
• Troubleshoot production issues, responsibly restore services, and drive subsequent improvements.
• Enhance systems, tools, and engineering practices for the wider team.
• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development proficiency with Python and Django.
• Experience in developing user-facing applications with React and TypeScript.
• Proven ownership of significant production outcomes.
• Familiarity with designing and integrating APIs, relational data models, and third-party services.
• Solid understanding of automated testing, security, data integrity, failure handling, and maintainable software design.
• Experience in diagnosing production behavior using logs, metrics, traces, profiling, and other operational data.
• Substantial experience utilizing AI tools within a professional engineering workflow.
• Capable of articulating technical decisions, trade-offs, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a remote, cross-functional setting.
• Experience in lean product organizations and collaboration with business or operational stakeholders.
• Familiarity with marketplaces, matching, routing, lead management, workflow automation, or multi-sided products.
• Experience building integration-heavy systems that involve CRMs, communication platforms, webhooks, asynchronous jobs, or third-party APIs.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and background-processing systems like Celery.
• Experience delivering complete features across both backend and frontend systems.
• Familiarity with production incidents, migrations, concurrency, data-quality issues, or other critical workflows.
• Experience converting successful AI workflows into reusable automation, tools, or team practices.
• Total compensation package ranging from $180,000 to $250,000.
