Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create polished, high-converting purchasing experiences for exploring digital offerings and marketing digital memberships, courses, and content at scale.

• Develop and maintain applications utilizing a Ruby on Rails backend alongside React and Next.js front-end technologies.

• Apply Next.js best practices, encompassing SSR/SSG, routing, and performance enhancements.

• Enhance the quality of the codebase, processes, and overall architecture.

• Collaborate with Circle leaders throughout the feature design process.

• Partner with designers to craft an exceptional user experience.

• Prioritize rapid iteration while ensuring the quality of code and user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a full-stack engineer working on complex, large-scale web applications.

• Proven experience with applications operating at substantial scale, including 100k+ requests per minute and databases exceeding 100GB.

• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, MySQL/PostgreSQL, ReactJS, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind.

• Experience in both frontend and backend development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Background in working with a fully distributed remote team.

• Proficiency in English at CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.

• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with a sense of personal accountability.

• Comfort in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and eagerness to learn new technologies.

• Bonus: experience with creator platforms, social content, video feeds, or marketplaces.

• Bonus: familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation.

• Bonus: exposure to search, recommendation, and personalization at scale.
