Senior Full Stack Software Developer

📋 Description

• Design, test, implement, and uphold product-level code throughout the entire codebase.

• Take charge of significant features and projects with a high impact.

• Facilitate technical design discussions and lead architectural enhancements for improved performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system challenges across hardware, networks, and services.

• Assess the performance, cost, and scalability of operational systems.

• Refactor outdated code to accommodate growth.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during agile sprints, including product managers, designers, and engineers.

• Perform code reviews and offer constructive feedback.

• Keep technical documentation up to date.

• Guide junior team members and co-op students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining impactful full-stack software solutions.

• Strong expertise in Kotlin, Python, and TypeScript.

• Proficiency in Spring Boot or similar frameworks.

• Demonstrated success in developing robust and scalable applications.

• Advanced knowledge in constructing distributed microservices.

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka, Debezium, and Pub/Sub architectures.

• Proven expertise with AWS cloud-managed applications.

• Extensive experience with Docker container orchestration.

• Experience in managing intricate IoT systems and large-scale datasets.

• Understanding of Snowflake data pipelines and Redis real-time caching.

• Practical experience using modern agentic tooling.

• Experience in mentoring and technically guiding colleagues.

• Legally permitted to work in either Canada or the United States.
