Senior Full Stack Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Lead the execution of intricate product initiatives while enhancing the technical proficiency of the broader team.

• Take ownership of the technical direction for significant components of the platform.

• Collaborate with colleagues in the engineering team to contribute to architecture, infrastructure, and engineering strategy.

• Design and implement features across our .NET, MongoDB, React, and AWS technology stack.

• Utilize AI coding agents to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and expedite delivery.

• Review, refine, and validate code produced by agents to ensure quality, reliability, and maintainability.

• Enhance our software development practices through improved prompts, evaluations, tools, and methodologies.

• Participate in our engineering support rotation, assisting in the resolution of complex customer issues.

• Mentor intermediate and junior engineers through pairing, coaching, and providing technical guidance.

• Contribute to enhancements in infrastructure, observability, and platform operations within our AWS environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive software development experience in a SaaS context.

• Proven experience in building and managing systems from start to finish.

• In-depth knowledge of C#, .NET, Web APIs, MongoDB, and React/TypeScript.

• Practical experience with AWS and a strong familiarity with Terraform.

• Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD, observability, and the operation of production systems.

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and workflows effectively.

• Strong architectural acumen and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding communication skills with the capacity to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
