Senior Full Stack Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications utilizing Java and contemporary front-end technologies.

• Construct scalable microservices and APIs to facilitate high-volume transaction processing.

• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including architects, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and product owners.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

• Diagnose production issues and implement enhancements for performance.

• Ensure that applications adhere to security, compliance, and performance benchmarks.

• Produce technical documentation and participate in architectural discussions.

• Guide junior developers and contribute to best practices in development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional software development experience.

• Previous experience supporting clients in financial services or banking is strongly preferred.

• In-depth expertise in Java/J2EE development with Java Versions 8 and 17.

• Comprehensive experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.

• Practical experience in developing and supporting Microservice Architecture.

• Strong comprehension of RESTful Web Services and API development.

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases including MongoDB and DynamoDB.

• Experience in implementing messaging and event-driven systems utilizing Kafka and RabbitMQ.

• Knowledge of authentication and security technologies like OAuth and JWT.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices utilizing Jenkins and GitHub.

• Experience in testing APIs with tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.

• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing using JUnit and Mockito.

• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
