Senior Full Stack IoT Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain firmware, backend, and tooling solutions for cellular IoT devices.

• Develop and optimize embedded software using C for STM32 microcontrollers, ensuring both performance and reliability.

• Integrate and manage embedded AI models to enhance the capabilities of devices.

• Collaborate closely with hardware, electronics, and manufacturing teams to bring innovative products to fruition.

• Engage directly with physical devices for hands-on development, troubleshooting, and validation.

• Ensure efficient cellular communication and low power operations within device ecosystems.

• Contribute to backend and tooling development utilizing Python and Ruby on Rails.

• Stay updated on emerging IoT technologies and recommend innovations that align with business objectives.

• Perform additional job duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on embedded systems and full stack development.

• Proven proficiency in C programming for microcontrollers (preferably STM32), along with experience in cellular communication protocols.

• Expertise in backend development using Python and Ruby on Rails.

• Experience in integrating AI models into embedded systems is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of hardware/software integration and principles of low-power design.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead complex development projects.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to innovation.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Capability to independently manage all aspects of the job role, including achieving required goals and adhering to business practices in a remote setting.
