Senior Full-Stack Engineer – remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Go that support web and mobile applications.

• Enhance system performance, monitoring, and the developer experience across the entire technology stack.

• Lead technical design, ensure code quality, and promote architectural improvements through RFCs and code reviews.

• Create scalable, high-performance frontend features while adhering to best practices in performance, accessibility, code quality, and maintainability.

• Build and enhance high-traffic, user-centric pages that serve millions of users.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver features from inception to completion.

• Implement A/B testing and rollout strategies for new functionalities.

• Guarantee data integrity, security, and compliance across user-facing APIs and systems.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor fellow team members, and participate in technical interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, gRPC, and event-driven architectures.

• Strong understanding of API design, data modeling, and distributed systems.

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing full stack applications.

• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Knowledge of modern HTML and CSS standards.

• Understanding of frontend development practices and tools.

• Capability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.

• Emphasis on performance and reliability.

• Excellent proficiency in English.

• Must be located in one of the European time zones.
