Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Python, .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain scalable backend services hosted on AWS, emphasizing Python-based applications and AI-driven solutions.

• Engage in full stack development projects, which encompass backend APIs and select frontend components utilizing TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Maintain a balance between speed and quality, ensuring that the code is maintainable, reliable, and production-ready without unnecessary complexity.

• Guide and assist junior AI engineers by offering technical mentorship, architectural insights, and best practice recommendations.

• Work collaboratively with product stakeholders, AI engineers, and cross-functional teams to launch new AI-related products and enhance platform capabilities.

• Participate in future platform initiatives, which may include work within the .NET-based Storefront API ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a solid background in backend development, including expert-level proficiency in Python for creating scalable backend systems and production-ready services.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong grasp of software architecture, code quality standards, and engineering best practices.

• Capability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and function effectively as a senior individual contributor.

• Candidates should possess hands-on experience in C#/.NET development, as C#/.NET 10 is our primary backend stack and crucial to our long-term platform strategy and adaptability.

• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration abilities, particularly within rapidly growing engineering teams.

• A proactive attitude with the capacity to mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence across the organization.
