Senior Full Stack Engineer – Premium

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver Premium management functionalities across Stripe, encompassing in-app purchases (Apple IAP / Google IAP), credit card payment processes, and post-purchase lifecycle management.

• Take full ownership of projects from inception to completion: defining problems, designing technical solutions, implementing plans, rolling out features, and ensuring ongoing reliability.

• Collaborate closely with our product partners, data teams, and operations teams to build systems that are secure, scalable, and user-friendly.

• Enhance reliability and visibility across essential workflows by instrumenting services, troubleshooting production issues, and elevating engineering standards.

• Produce clear design documentation and RFCs, engage in code reviews, and foster a culture of constructive feedback and continuous improvement.

• Lead the technical direction: suggest architectures, assess trade-offs, and shape the team’s product and technical roadmap.

• Guide and support others: mentor mid-level engineers, collaborate on challenging problems, and share best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience with Node.js/TypeScript, React (or a similar framework), Postgres (or a comparable relational database), and asynchronous queuing systems like SQS. Familiarity with GraphQL is advantageous.
