Senior Full-stack Engineer – Node.js, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance the core functionalities of the platform.

• Create high-performance web interfaces along with robust backend services capable of managing complex data streams.

• Develop the Unified Notification System to provide real-time updates across various channels (SMS, RCS, Push) at scale, ensuring high deliverability and minimal latency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in full-stack development utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Advanced proficiency in React (Hooks, Context API, Performance Optimization) alongside modern state management techniques.

• Comprehensive experience with Node.js (Express or NestJS) and the architecture of efficient, scalable server-side logic.

• Demonstrated experience in designing GraphQL schemas, crafting complex resolvers, and optimizing queries (Apollo Server/Client).

• Professional background with Firebase Services, particularly Firestore (NoSQL modeling), Firebase Auth, and Cloud Functions.

• Experience in building or integrating notification engines.

• Thorough understanding of SMS/RCS protocols and providers (e.g., Twilio, MessageBird, or AWS Pinpoint).

• Familiarity with WebSockets or Firebase Realtime Database for real-time UI updates.

• Dedicated to maintaining high test coverage (Jest, Cypress, or Playwright) and adhering to clean code principles (SOLID).

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural setting and document technical decisions comprehensively.

• Skill in composing structured prompts for AI agents to accurately generate unit tests, documentation, and boilerplate code.

• Experience with BullMQ, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS is a plus for managing asynchronous notification bursts.

• Knowledge of utilizing LLM outputs on the frontend (streaming text, markdown rendering).

• Experience with Responsive Web Design and Progressive Web Apps (PWA).

• Proficient in using Sentry or New Relic for tracking frontend errors and backend bottlenecks.
