Senior Full Stack Engineer, Java, Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and enhance enterprise applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript.

• Design and implement new features for both frontend and backend.

• Create, integrate, and support REST APIs and microservices.

• Establish integrations between platforms and enterprise systems.

• Engage in technical design, architectural decisions, and the formulation of scalable solutions.

• Contribute to efforts focused on application modernization and the advancement of legacy systems.

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code in accordance with engineering standards and best practices.

• Conduct code reviews and participate in enhancing the technical quality of deliverables.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to applications, integrations, and performance.

• Assist with incident resolution and carry out root cause analysis.

• Ensure compliance with security, scalability, quality, performance, and maintainability standards.

• Collaborate with international teams across technology, architecture, business analysis, product, and other stakeholders.

• Support CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven, Jenkins, and related tools.

• Work with relational databases to ensure efficient data integration and operations.

• Contribute to cloud-based solutions, containers, orchestration, and event-driven architectures when relevant.

• Provide technical assistance to fellow developers by sharing knowledge and best practices.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the planning, refinement, and delivery of initiatives.

• Balance the maintenance, bug fixes, modernization, and development of new features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Advanced English (C2) proficiency, capable of communicating in an international environment.

• Experience in developing Full Stack applications using Java and Angular.

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs and microservices.

• Knowledge of Hibernate, JPA, and relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with software architecture, object-oriented principles, system design, and development best practices.

• Experience with mission-critical enterprise applications, complex integrations, scalability, and high transaction volumes.

• Knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes.

• Experience in troubleshooting, resolving issues, and supporting applications in production environments.

• Experience in modernizing legacy systems and advancing corporate platforms.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, architecture, product, and business analysis teams.

• Strong analytical skills, independence, clear communication, and a focus on delivery quality.

• Preferred: Experience in the financial sector, messaging with Kafka or RabbitMQ, event-driven architectures, AWS or other cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift, monitoring and observability, application security, digital transformation, international stakeholders, mentoring, or technical leadership.

• Certifications related to Java, AWS, Azure, Agile, or software development are advantageous.
