Senior Full Stack Engineer – f/m/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and develop coding agents, task-specific AI agents, and multi-step workflows that enhance user-facing features.

• Construct and optimize retrieval pipelines, embedding flows, and hybrid RAG/logic systems.

• Architect resilient prompting, function-calling, and tool orchestration systems.

• Take ownership of features across Next.js, backend services, and mobile/web platforms.

• Convert product and clinical requirements into AI-driven user experiences.

• Collaborate with data pipelines, BigQuery, analytics, and experimentation frameworks.

• Create and advance our shared React/React Native component library and design system.

• Ensure accessibility, performance, and support for multiple market languages.

• Establish coding standards for AI-integrated features.

• Mentor peers on AI architecture, LLM patterns, evaluation, and failure modes.

• Challenge existing assumptions, propose improved approaches, and advocate for pragmatic, responsible AI usage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level engineering experience, ideally 6+ years, demonstrating strong autonomy.

• Profound knowledge of the contemporary LLM ecosystem: models, embeddings, fine-tuning, structured outputs, evaluation, and latency/cost trade-offs.

• Practical experience in developing production AI agents (e.g., planning/multi-step systems, tool-calling, retrieval-integrated workflows).

• Proficient in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Experience in building cloud-hosted applications (Azure, GCP, etc.).

• Strong backend skills with Node.js, APIs, data modeling, authentication, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with BigQuery or similar analytical data warehouses.

• Solid product awareness — emphasizing usability, clarity, and outcome delivery.

• Pragmatic engineering mindset: prioritizing readable code, clear patterns, and low complexity.

• Nice to Have: Previous experience in healthtech, HR tech, or other sensitive domains.

• Experience with evaluation frameworks, AI observability, or human-in-the-loop workflows.

• Background in mobile development (React Native, native iOS/Android).

• Experience with multi-language or multi-market products.
