This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.
• Effectively manage your time while following the priorities established by the company.
• Develop new features and enhance existing ones across our various platforms.
• Refactor and improve applications to maintain performance, scalability, and ease of maintenance.
• Write tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure the reliability of the software.
• Engage in all stages of the software lifecycle, from ideation through to deployment.
• Participate in in-depth technical discussions and contribute to shaping our applications and infrastructure.
• Get hands-on experience with all components of the stack, from backend logic to frontend interactions.
• Identify inefficiencies and assist in streamlining workflows to minimize unnecessary tasks.
• Take responsibility for your work, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results and maintainable solutions.
• Over 10 years of PHP development experience, with proficiency in at least one framework (preferably Symfony or Zend).
• More than 12 years of experience in web application development: you’ve witnessed the evolution of web technologies and understand how to build for the future.
• At least 6 years of experience working with frontend frameworks/libraries such as Vue.js, React, Nuxt, or Next.js.
• A deep understanding of scalable web architectures: whether monolithic, microservices, or hybrid, you know when to apply each.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A strong passion for automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) and test-driven development (TDD).
• Practical experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong expertise in PHP development, debugging, and algorithm/software design.
• Familiarity with agile development tools, techniques, and principles.
• Knowledge of Ansible and Terraform for automating infrastructure.
• Experience in deploying, managing, and scaling applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• A solid understanding of web security, including encryption, authentication, authorization, and related concepts.
