Senior Full-Stack Engineer, AWS Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain backend services utilizing NestJS, Fastify, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Redis, and S3.

• Enhance and advance the WebRTC signaling server using NestJS, Socket.IO, and Redis.

• Take ownership of and refine AWS infrastructure through CDK, encompassing ECS Fargate, ALBs, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, and Amplify.

• Oversee and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions across development, staging, and production settings.

• Ensure platform stability via monitoring, health checks, rate limiting, security measures, and observability practices.

• Implement and uphold distributed coordination systems such as Redis-based locking.

• Enhance WebRTC communication reliability, focusing on connection handling, backpressure management, and chunked file transfers.

• Contribute to frontend development with React and collaborate on cross-functional product features.

• Construct and sustain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites.

• Streamline deployment workflows and assist in release automation processes.

• Partner with product and engineering teams to provide scalable and high-quality solutions.

• Consistently enhance platform performance, maintainability, and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience in TypeScript and Node.js development.

• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining backend services using NestJS.

• Practical expertise with PostgreSQL, Redis, and contemporary API architectures.

• Solid experience with AWS, including ECS Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, and load balancers.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CDK in TypeScript.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices, including GitHub Actions and multi-environment deployment pipelines.

• Experience with cloud authentication methods such as OIDC role assumption.

• Production-oriented mindset with a focus on scalability, monitoring, security, and reliability.

• Experience in implementing observability solutions and monitoring tools.

• In-depth understanding of distributed systems and real-time communication technologies.

• Background in writing automated tests and maintaining high-quality CI pipelines.

• Effective communication skills and capability to collaborate across backend, infrastructure, and frontend domains.

• Proficient in English - C1 level.

• Experience utilizing AI tools in daily workflows.

• Familiarity with Playwright or similar end-to-end testing frameworks.

• Knowledge of browser automation and enhancements for CI stability.

• Experience with WebRTC data channels and peer-to-peer architectures.

• Understanding of OAuth2, JWT authentication, refresh token rotation, and reuse detection.

• Experience with C++ and Qt/QML.

• Knowledge of WebAssembly and Emscripten build environments.

• Experience in maintaining intricate build and deployment pipelines.
