Contract Technical Recruiter – Cloud, Infrastructure, AI/ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, engage, assess, and provide high-quality technical talent to meet the evolving needs of Rackspace Technology.

• Recruit across various domains including Cloud, Infrastructure, AI/ML, Data Engineering, Networking, Security, DevOps/SRE, Software Engineering, and other emerging technologies.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to gain insights into technical requirements, business goals, team structures, desired talent profiles, and success factors.

• Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and negotiating offers.

• Develop talent pipelines across diverse technical fields.

• Advise and inform hiring teams on best practices in talent acquisition.

• Maintain records of candidate interactions and progress within ATS, HRIS, and sourcing tools.

• Utilize Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, professional communities, technical networks, referrals, internal talent pools, and other platforms.

• Ensure a professional, transparent, responsive, and engaging experience for candidates.

• Communicate Rackspace Technology’s value proposition, culture, career opportunities, technological capabilities, and customer impact effectively.

• Keep accurate records of candidates and requisitions in recruiting systems.

• Adhere to recruiting processes, documentation standards, data privacy regulations, and employment laws.

• Leverage recruiting data and metrics to assess funnel effectiveness, sourcing performance, candidate conversion rates, aging, and time-to-fill.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in recruiting technical talent within a corporate, RPO, staffing, consulting, managed services, or technology context.

• Strong background in recruiting across various technical disciplines.

• Demonstrated ability to source and engage passive technical candidates in competitive talent markets.

• Familiarity with cloud computing, infrastructure, AI/ML, data engineering, networking, DevOps/SRE, software engineering, or related technology fields.

• Ability to comprehend technical terminology and differentiate between profiles in engineering, architecture, operations, consulting, and technical delivery.

• Experience managing multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong stakeholder management and consultative recruiting capabilities.

• Experience in conducting structured candidate evaluations and presenting qualified candidates to hiring teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing platforms, and recruiting technologies.

• Workday Recruiting experience preferred.

• Experience with AI-enabled recruiting, sourcing, or talent intelligence tools.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
