Cloud Application Architect – Node.js, React.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, deploy, and sustain cloud solutions.

• Ensure the integrity and security of systems.

• Support and advance automation efforts.

• Develop applications using Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js.

• Keep up-to-date and enhance knowledge of AWS cloud services and microservices.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, cloud engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to deploy and manage AWS workloads.

• Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, VPC, and IAM.

• Create and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and knowledge articles.

• Architect the modernization of enterprise-class software applications.

• Coordinate with Agile development teams and stakeholders to architect, design, build, migrate, expand, automate, and sustain a large multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise.

• Leverage experience in cloud software architecture to design and guide the development of solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Training, Certificate, or Degree is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, or relevant experience is preferred.

• Over 10 years of related experience with AWS cloud computing.

• Development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining React.js front-end applications.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture.

• Experience in designing and implementing Lambda services/microservices in a multi-tenant environment.

• Experience with designing and implementing CI/CD tools such as GitLab.

• Expert knowledge of Linux OS, including exposure to kernel-level operations.

• Experience with serverless architecture and/or containerization.

• Extensive experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience in delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various organizational levels.

• Previous experience as a Team Lead and/or Manager.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional is preferred.

• Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a position of Public Trust.

• Must be a US Person: Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, or US Citizen.

• Must provide onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility.
