Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive full-stack features throughout the activation funnel, including onboarding UI, guides, wizards, checklists, in-app messaging, and dashboards.

• Take ownership of backend services and APIs that facilitate analytics, track user progress, and personalize onboarding experiences.

• Create self-service capabilities such as API explorers, data previews, and sandbox flows to enhance integration rates.

• Implement effective event tracking using platforms like Segment, Amplitude, BigQuery, and PostHog.

• Collaborate with Product and Growth teams to define and track essential activation metrics.

• Partner with analysts to extract insights and user segments for improved targeting.

• Conduct A/B tests and iterative experiments aimed at enhancing signup, activation, and trial conversion rates.

• Utilize usage data to develop and test UX variations, email triggers, and behavioral nudges.

• Execute cohort-based analysis to pinpoint drop-offs and identify quick wins.

• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Support to identify obstacles and opportunities throughout the funnel.

• Serve as a technical liaison between user-facing teams and internal analytics tools.

• Assist in creating a seamless developer experience from signup to achieving first value.

• Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance full-stack code.

• Ensure the smooth deployment and observability of new features, including logs, alerts, and error tracking.

• Uphold high standards of privacy, compliance, and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess over 5 years of experience as a Full-Stack/Product Engineer, preferably with a background in growth or product engineering.

• Have experience in modern frontend and backend development utilizing React (or similar frameworks).

• Understand the key components of SaaS funnels, including signup, onboarding, usage, activation, and conversion.

• Have implemented behavioral analytics, event tracking, and activation dashboards.

• Experience with tools such as Amplitude, Segment, BigQuery, or PostHog is essential.

• Familiarity with A/B testing tools and statistical analysis of experiments is required.

• Ability to balance speed with technical debt, delivering quickly while maintaining code quality.

• Enjoy taking ownership of metrics and being evaluated based on impact rather than lines of code.

• Communicate effectively with product, growth, and marketing teams and thrive on constructive feedback.

• Possess a strong design sensibility with experience in creating polished, customer-facing interfaces that embody brand values and marketing objectives.
