Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and execute comprehensive product capabilities that encompass frontend applications, backend services, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations.

• Convert product specifications, UX designs, and acceptance criteria into scalable technical solutions.

• Oversee the technical design for moderately complex and complex initiatives.

• Decompose large capabilities into actionable technical components and development increments.

• Create responsive, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces utilizing modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks.

• Design and develop backend services, application APIs, business logic, data models, and asynchronous workflows.

• Construct and sustain integrations with enterprise platforms, data sources, AI services, media providers, and other external systems.

• Contribute to capabilities in video creation, rendering, personalization, animation, asset management, analytics, and distribution.

• Proactively identify performance, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability issues before they escalate to production problems.

• Write automated unit, integration, component, and end-to-end tests.

• Engage in code reviews and establish robust patterns for code quality and engineering consistency.

• Diagnose and address complex production issues across application and infrastructure layers.

• Enhance observability through structured logging, monitoring, metrics, tracing, and actionable alerts.

• Collaborate closely with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, and fellow engineers throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Mentor mid-level engineers by providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, pairing, and offering constructive feedback.

• Contribute to architectural standards, engineering practices, shared components, and reusable platform capabilities.

• Responsibly utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to expedite development, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and code modernization.

• Participate in release readiness, production support, incident response, and root-cause analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 7+ years of professional software development experience, including significant experience in creating production SaaS applications.

• Strong full-stack development experience with modern JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Advanced proficiency with the React frontend framework.

• Deep understanding of component architecture, state management, frontend performance, responsive design, and browser behavior.

• Experience in building complex, workflow-oriented web applications.

• Strong backend development expertise with Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or similar server-side technologies.

• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs, event-driven services, background jobs, and asynchronous workflows.

• Solid understanding of both relational and non-relational data modeling.

• Proficient with PostgreSQL or another modern relational database.

• Experience integrating with third-party APIs, authentication providers, data platforms, or enterprise systems.

• Strong grasp of cloud-native application development, preferably within AWS.

• Familiarity with containers, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure environments, and modern deployment practices.

• Strong understanding of automated testing strategies across unit, integration, API, component, and end-to-end levels.

• Experience troubleshooting distributed application issues using logs, metrics, traces, database analysis, and browser tooling.

• Working knowledge of application security, authorization, identity, secrets management, data protection, and secure coding practices.

• Experience with Git-based development workflows, including pull requests, code reviews, branching strategies, and automated quality checks.

• Strong understanding of software design principles, modular architecture, scalability, technical debt management, and maintainability.
