Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical authority for the team, guiding architectural and code quality choices while offering mentorship.

• Design and advance distributed systems, focusing on scalability, resilience, and optimal performance.

• Establish and ensure compliance with the architectural framework for APIs and microservices utilizing C#/.NET Core and Node.js.

• Develop service integration patterns leveraging REST, RabbitMQ, and event-driven architecture.

• Engage in data modeling for both relational and non-relational databases.

• Execute and assess strategies for unit, integration, contract, and load testing.

• Guarantee security, authentication, authorization, and compliance for external integrations.

• Assist in capacity planning, troubleshooting production issues, and conducting root cause analysis of incidents.

• Set and uphold standards for front-end architecture using Flutter or React.

• Collaborate with Design and Product teams to ensure performance, accessibility, and user experience.

• Create a design system, reusable components, and establish best practices for state management and API integration.

• Facilitate decision-making regarding web and Android/iOS mobile applications.

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and pair programming.

• Lead technical decision-making, maintain living documentation, and oversee planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and reviews.

• Identify opportunities for process and architectural enhancements and contribute to the technical roadmap of the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience with C#/.NET Core and Node.js in production settings.

• Proven proficiency in REST APIs and microservices architecture.

• Comprehensive knowledge of PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases.

• Significant experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and asynchronous integration patterns.

• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and AWS in production environments.

• Experience with automated testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and contract testing.

• Advanced skills in Flutter (Dart) and/or React (TypeScript/JavaScript).

• Background in front-end architecture, performance, accessibility, and RESTful API integration.

• Proficiency in version control systems like Git/GitHub/GitLab.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Technical English skills for reading and writing documentation.

• Proven track record of mentorship and technical leadership.

• A graduate degree, MBA, or relevant certifications are advantageous.

• Experience with Android/iOS mobile applications is a bonus.

• Knowledge of Python, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, observability, and AI coding tools is a plus.
