Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product management, UX, engineering, QA, and customers to define and validate end-to-end features.

• Develop and implement REST API endpoints and microservices utilizing Python with FastAPI or Java/Kotlin with Vert.x, supported by PostgreSQL.

• Create user-facing experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.

• Write unit tests and engage in code reviews.

• Ensure quality is maintained throughout the codebase.

• Manage builds and deployments to staging and production environments using Docker, GitLab, and Kubernetes.

• Identify, prioritize, and address bugs and technical debt across the technology stack.

• Disseminate knowledge through mentoring, training sessions, and interviewing prospective teammates.

• Contribute to AI-driven engineering tools that enhance quality and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience, with significant involvement in both frontend and backend tasks.

• Strong expertise in at least one backend programming language: Python, Java, or Kotlin.

• Experience in designing RESTful APIs.

• Strong command of SQL.

• Proficient in JavaScript/React or a comparable modern framework.

• Familiar with TypeScript, Git, and testing frameworks for both frontend and backend development.

• Practical experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or Cursor.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• A passion for creating scalable solutions that make a real impact on customers.

• Proficiency in microservices architecture or micro-frontend infrastructure is an advantage.

• Experience with observability tools is a plus.

• Practical experience integrating LLMs or AI capabilities into products is a plus.
