Senior Full-Stack Developer, Unity Ads Dashboards

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement backend services, APIs, and data models that enable intricate, multi-faceted dashboard experiences for game publishers.

• Take ownership of features from requirement gathering to production: including backend integrations, data pipelines, and front-end interfaces that display them.

• Collaborate across various systems, integrating existing services while ensuring data consistency in downstream applications.

• Spearhead modernization initiatives, balancing new development with the ongoing support and migration of current systems.

• Steer the team's technical trajectory: lead design evaluations, influence architectural decisions, and uphold high standards for backend and front-end quality.

• Affect development practices beyond your individual tasks by contributing to shared UI patterns, front-end architecture guidelines, and backend design standards utilized throughout the team.

• Partner with Product and Design teams to transform complex data and publisher workflows into user-friendly, high-performance dashboard experiences.

• Detect reliability, performance, and user experience challenges, and drive their resolution through metrics, monitoring, and practical analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in designing and developing production-quality backend services, RESTful or GraphQL APIs, and data models; our primary technology stack includes Node.js.

• Proven track record of owning intricate features from requirements definition to production, for both backend systems and front-end interfaces, concurrently across multiple systems.

• Experience in guiding architectural choices, establishing standards, and defining the technical direction for a team or product area.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and React: component design, state management, performance, and maintainability are essential to this role.

• Experience in creating production-grade products that encompass backend services, integrations, APIs, and data-driven user experiences.

• Skilled in collaborating across various teams or platforms, influencing quality and consistency beyond a single feature or codebase.

• Verified ability to take charge in uncertain environments, lead initiatives autonomously, and align multiple stakeholders around technical solutions.

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities: adept at scoping work, aligning stakeholders, and working closely with Product, Design, and other engineering teams.

• Strong engineering fundamentals: testing, code reviews, accessibility, and a sincere commitment to building maintainable systems.
