This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Construct and sustain AI agents that assist software development, QA, and product teams.
• Create agents for code generation, coding standards, design-to-code, and workflow automation.
• Design structured, dependency-aware workflows for agents rather than relying on single-prompt solutions.
• Develop agent skills, prompts, tool interfaces, and reusable workflow components.
• Implement evaluation and observability practices to assess agent quality and performance.
• Establish self-validation and error-recovery systems utilizing testing and type-checking outcomes.
• Build and maintain applications utilizing React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Develop and utilize REST and GraphQL APIs following established best practices.
• Integrate agents with internal systems, SaaS platforms, APIs, and development tools.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to gather feedback and enhance existing agent solutions.
• Investigate emerging AI tools, frameworks, vendors, and alternative local models.
• Document agent behavior, architectural decisions, limitations, and user guidelines.
• Apply security, accessibility, testing, and performance standards throughout the development process.
• Actively participate in team discussions, technical planning, and solution design.
• Over 5 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong practical experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience in building, integrating, or maintaining agents and agentic workflows.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, task decomposition, context management, and tool invocation.
• Understanding of agent evaluation, observability, validation, and error-recovery methodologies.
• Experience with GraphQL APIs, preferably utilizing Apollo Client.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party SaaS integrations.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, and cloud-based application architecture.
• Experience using automated testing tools like Jest, Cypress, or Vitest.
• Understanding of secure API development, OAuth2/OIDC, API keys, and access controls.
• Experience in developing accessible interfaces in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Strong documentation and technical communication abilities.
• Proficient in English, with the capability to collaborate in a distributed environment.
• A proactive and exploratory mindset with the capacity to work independently.
• A Mac computer that meets the client’s BYOD requirements, ideally with 32 GB RAM.
