Senior Full Stack Developer, Node.js, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Identify and design integrations between distributed systems and communication patterns.

• Architect resilient systems that can handle high loads and recover from failures using caching, messaging, and circuit breakers.

• Engage with CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and process automation.

• Perform critical code reviews and foster the team’s technical growth through mentoring.

• Assess trade-offs related to delivery time, cost, and quality, while planning for the continuous modernization of systems.

• Develop and maintain RFCs, ADRs, and various architecture and project documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of algorithms, basic data structures, and stream handling.

• Create unit and integration tests in accordance with the Test Pyramid.

• Implement SOLID principles and Clean Code practices.

• Practical experience with design patterns such as Factory, Singleton, and Observer.

• Develop REST APIs that include versioning, pagination, standardized responses, JWT, and OAuth2.

• In-depth knowledge of HTTP, including verbs, headers, and status codes.

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, SQL/NoSQL, and CRUD operations.

• Proficient in Git, conflict resolution, and Gitflow/GitHub Flow.

• Create and manage images and local environments using Docker and Docker Compose.

• Instrument code with logging and metrics for production monitoring.

• Strong command of JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.

• Advanced experience with NestJS, including dependency injection (DI), Guards, Pipes, Interceptors, DTOs, and validation.

• Familiarity with Prisma or TypeORM and migration management.

• Automated testing experience with Jest or Vitest.

• Knowledge of performance optimization, the Event Loop, Streams, Buffers, and Node.js application optimization.

• Ability to make architectural decisions regarding microservices, APIs, and serverless solutions.

• Develop React applications using componentization and scalable architecture.

• Experience with Hooks, performance optimization, and state management using Context API, Redux Toolkit, or Zustand.

• Knowledge of React Router or Next.js.

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or CSS Modules.

• Implement tests using Jest and React Testing Library.

• Understanding of accessibility, Design Systems, and Core Web Vitals.
