Senior Full-Stack Developer, Backend, Cloud Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services utilizing NestJS, Fastify, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Redis, and S3.

• Enhance and develop the WebRTC signaling server using NestJS, Socket.IO, and Redis.

• Take ownership of and evolve AWS infrastructure with CDK, including ECS Fargate, ALBs, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, and Amplify.

• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions across development, staging, and production environments.

• Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, health checks, rate limiting, security measures, and observability practices.

• Implement and uphold Redis-based locking for cron jobs executing across multiple tasks.

• Enhance WebRTC communication reliability, including connection management, backpressure handling, and chunked file transfers.

• Contribute to frontend development in React and collaborate on cross-functional product features.

• Build and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing suites.

• Optimize deployment workflows and support release automation processes.

• Work alongside product and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

• Continuously improve platform performance, maintainability, and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js development.

• Proven track record in building and maintaining backend services with NestJS.

• Experience with WebRTC data channels and peer-to-peer architectures.

• Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and contemporary API architectures.

• Solid AWS experience, including ECS Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, and load balancers.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, preferably using AWS CDK in TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, including GitHub Actions and multi-environment deployment pipelines.

• Knowledge of cloud authentication mechanisms such as OIDC role assumption.

• Production-focused experience in implementing observability and monitoring solutions.

• Emphasis on scalability, security, and reliability.

• Experience in writing automated tests and maintaining high-quality CI pipelines.

• Fluent in English - C1 level.
