Senior Full-Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance features across the technology stack utilizing TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.

• Develop and maintain backend services and cloud components on AWS, including Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and IAM.

• Enhance the reliability, maintainability, and performance of an existing production codebase.

• Implement security-focused development practices and support engineering decisions that prioritize security by default.

• Work collaboratively with product and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Review, validate, and improve AI-assisted code and tooling outputs prior to integration into production.

• Contribute to best engineering practices, code quality, and technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in production software engineering.

• Extensive hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React/Next.js.

• Demonstrated experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and IAM.

• Experience working with brownfield or legacy codebases.

• A security-aware engineering mindset, familiar with NIST 800-53 or similar security frameworks.

• Practical understanding of AWS Security Hub, CIS benchmarks, or other cloud security standards.

• Experience critically using AI coding tools, focusing on validation and sound engineering judgment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Knowledge of observability, testing strategies, and deployment pipelines.

• Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments.

• Strong communication skills with a proactive and collaborative working approach.
