Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop efficient, readable, maintainable, and testable code for both frontend and backend applications.

• Implement unit tests, along with occasional integration and performance tests.

• Conduct code reviews for fellow developers.

• Tackle complex challenges with a strong focus on user experience, security, and performance.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, software engineers, QA testers, and technical writers to create and sustain top-tier Atlassian plugins utilized by thousands in prominent companies globally.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development for commercial applications, ideally in a SaaS environment.

• At least 4 years of experience in commercial software development using TypeScript with React, as well as server-side development of commercial web applications in Java and/or Kotlin.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as big-O notation, basic data structures, and algorithms.

• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and Java/Kotlin.

• Skilled in leveraging agentic AI workflows to enhance productivity while maintaining code quality.

• Experience in constructing complex user interfaces.

• Strong understanding of usability principles.

• Competence in API design.

• Experience in developing highly scalable distributed systems.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS.

• Knowledge of SQL queries and database performance, along with experience in NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or AWS DynamoDB.

• Background in performance optimization.

• Upper-intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Ability to articulate thoughts clearly, including explaining technical decisions.

• Strong soft skills for effective communication in a multicultural setting.

• Capacity to work independently and remotely without extensive oversight, and the ability to commence tasks without complete technical specifications.

• Willingness to learn and engage in productive discussions on topics where prior knowledge may be limited.

• Capability to collaborate with teammates in developing technical specifications.
