Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create user workflows that integrate contextually intelligent AI functionalities.

• Develop connectors for enterprise software and design systems for data migration and ingestion.

• Focus on security, SOC 2 compliance, multi-tenant architecture, observability, and performance at scale.

• Construct backend services that support user-facing features.

• Manage AWS operations (ECS, Aurora, S3), CI/CD processes, monitoring, and ensuring production reliability.

• You will adapt to various domains based on priorities rather than remaining within a single silo.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of backend experience, including more than 2 years at an early-stage startup (0-to-1 experience) with a strong grasp of both frontend and backend technologies.

• Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.

• Familiarity with production systems at scale, understanding the meaning of "production-ready."

• Possess product sense, recognizing why we build and influencing what we create.

• An ownership mindset, having led initiatives from start to finish.

• Solid foundations in APIs, databases, distributed systems, security, and cloud technologies.

• A passion for code quality, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of software development principles that enhance readability, maintainability, and testability.

• Actively incorporate AI tools into your daily development routine for tasks such as code generation, debugging, refactoring, and design exploration.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently with minimal oversight.

• A love for tackling challenges, driven by an innate sense of curiosity and urgency.

• Technical expertise in React, HTML, CSS, TypeScript/Node.js, Python, or similar, along with PostgreSQL, NoSQL, and query optimization; AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch); Infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, etc.; API design and authentication (OAuth, JWT); observability and monitoring; and security best practices and compliance frameworks.

• Bonus: Experience with mobile applications and migration tools or data import/integration systems.
