Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable, secure applications utilizing Node.js and principles of micro-service architecture.

• Deploy and oversee applications mainly on Azure and AWS platforms.

• Develop and implement data processing and integration solutions leveraging ETL tools.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and developers to produce high-quality solutions.

• Enhance application performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency within cloud environments.

• Maintain security and compliance best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

• Offer technical leadership, mentorship, and conduct code reviews for junior developers.

• Implement authentication and authorization protocols.

• Create RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.

• Develop intricate workflow systems utilizing cloud technologies.

• Integrate client applications with back-end cloud storage solutions.

• Write unit tests and ensure code coverage.

• Utilize version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.

• Operate in an Agile development environment employing DevSecOps principles and tools.

• Investigate and apply advanced technologies, industry tools, solutions, methods, best practices, and emerging technologies.

• Design and document processes and use cases, formulate business cases, and produce quality deliverables.

• Facilitate meetings and provide recommendations for enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience as outlined in the job qualifications.

• At least 7 years of professional software development experience.

• Proficiency in Node.js and micro-service architecture.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, UI/UX Design, or a related computer-based field.

• Experience in software engineering and architectural design.

• Familiarity with system security measures and best practices.

• Background in building and migrating software and IT services aligned with strategic business needs.

• Experience researching advanced technologies to meet business requirements.

• Knowledge of implementing authentication and authorization protocols, such as OAuth2.0.

• Considerable experience in developing RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with API documentation and design tools, like Swagger.

• Strong understanding of cloud development principles with hands-on Azure experience.

• Experience with serverless architectures and/or containerization technologies, such as Azure Functions, Docker, or Kubernetes.

• Experience in developing complex workflow systems using cloud technologies.

• Proficient in integrating client applications with back-end storage solutions, including DocumentDB, SQL, or CosmosDB.

• Experience in writing unit tests and ensuring code coverage.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in an Agile development environment using DevSecOps principles and tools.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Proven history of delivering scalable and reliable software solutions.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, presentation, project management, leadership, and meeting facilitation skills.

• Ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

• Experience with process design and documentation methodologies, process and use case modeling, and business case development.

• Understanding of the Project Life Cycle.
