Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and create full-stack applications from the ground up utilizing React and Node.js.

• Construct scalable application logic and cloud infrastructure to support digital products and agentic workflows.

• Develop systems that empower autonomous agents to interact, make decisions, and perform tasks.

• Create and uphold REST and GraphQL APIs that facilitate effective communication between applications and services.

• Develop and integrate MCP-compatible REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Incorporate third-party SaaS platforms and external services, including Microsoft Graph and social media APIs.

• Enhance website and application performance to guarantee fast and efficient user experiences.

• Create accessible user interfaces that adhere to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

• Implement security principles throughout the development lifecycle, covering authentication, authorization, API key management, and access auditing.

• Conduct functional and end-to-end automated testing using Jest and Cypress.

• Establish service-level objectives and apply observability practices across production services, including logs, metrics, and distributed traces.

• Engage in technical research, solution design, and the resolution of complex engineering challenges.

• Work collaboratively with developers, QA professionals, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the entire development lifecycle.

• Produce and maintain clear API documentation, interface contracts, and versioning standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of professional experience with modern development frameworks and languages.

• Strong practical experience with React and Node.js.

• Capability to develop full-stack applications from inception and deploy the necessary infrastructure for hosting.

• Proficiency with AWS and Docker.

• Familiarity with AWS services such as ECS Fargate, Aurora, OpenSearch, S3, EventBridge, SQS, Cognito, and Bedrock.

• Experience integrating third-party SaaS tools and external APIs.

• Proven experience in developing accessible interfaces that comply with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, API key management, and access audit trail patterns.

• Exposure to role-based and attribute-based access control models, including RBAC and ABAC.

• Experience delivering applications with functional and automated tests using Jest and Cypress.

• Experience in developing server-side rendered applications using Next.js or Nuxt.js.

• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo.

• Background in building or integrating MCP-compatible REST or GraphQL APIs.

• Understanding of API interface contracts, versioning, and consumer documentation.

• Familiarity with service-level objectives and production observability practices.

• Experience in building or consuming agentic workflows.

• Proficient English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with an international team.

• Strong sense of ownership, initiative, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative, ego-free approach.
