Senior Full-Stack Developer, AI-Assisted

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop the final pipeline agent (the certification builder), encompassing schema design, LLM prompt and output design, along with a review and approval workflow.

• Take ownership of multi-tenant readiness: implementing role-based access control, a membership model, email invitations, and self-service workspace provisioning.

• Enhance database maturity for the project: establish a formal migration workflow and distinguish between staging and production data.

• Lead production hardening efforts: implementing rate limiting and usage budgets for AI endpoints, conducting a cloud IAM and security review, ensuring secrets and environment hygiene, and improving error observability.

• Set up engineering processes: create a CI pipeline and expand test coverage.

• Refine the structure of a rapidly growing codebase while continuing to deliver new features.

• Make decisions between building or buying solutions, draft specifications, and provide mentorship to a junior engineer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with TypeScript and modern React/Next.js (including App Router, Server Components, Server Actions).

• Proven production SaaS backend experience: familiarity with multi-tenant data models, role and permission systems, and authentication flows (OAuth, JWT sessions).

• Relational database expertise: proficiency with Postgres and an ORM (preferably Prisma), a solid migration strategy, and the ability to implement safe schema changes in a live database.

• Understanding of distributed systems in a serverless environment: knowledge of queues, webhooks, idempotency, retries and backoff, and timeouts.

• Experience in LLM product engineering: capable of prompt design, ensuring structured and validated outputs, understanding token costs, and managing graceful degradation when a model or data source fails.

• Strong security instincts: capable of conducting a cloud IAM review (GCP or equivalent), reasoning about tenant isolation across data, storage, and real-time layers, and understanding where rate limiting and secrets hygiene are essential.

• Excellent judgment and comfort in being the senior engineer on the project.

• Strong asynchronous communication skills: able to articulate clear technical questions, document decisions, and proactively identify blockers.
