Senior Frontend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Oversee the release of significant frontend features and product enhancements, ensuring you manage the production lifecycle within your domains for a flawless and bug-free experience for our dental practices.

• Incorporate AI tools (such as Claude) into your daily development workflow to enhance efficiency. You should be proficient in using AI to assist your tasks, allowing you to concentrate on intricate state management, performance optimization, and user experience.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of AI-driven interfaces utilized by our customers, ensuring that our latest product updates are both intuitive and high-performing.

• Work closely with the Backend team to guarantee smooth integration between our Java Spring Boot backend and React/TypeScript frontend.

• Engage in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement within the team.

• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance team efficiency.

• Assess and plan development efforts for projects, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• Over 6 years of experience as a frontend engineer, with a strong focus on writing clean, high-quality code.

• Proficiency in React and TypeScript; experience with Tailwind is a plus.

• Extensive experience in managing releases and monitoring frontend health in a live production setting.

• Ability to clearly articulate when and how to leverage AI to enhance velocity without compromising the long-term maintainability of the React codebase.

• A strong emphasis on testing, stability, and performance to ensure our platform remains robust for our users.

• A customer-focused mindset, recognizing that dental practices depend on us for the smooth operation of their businesses.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a willingness to accept feedback and a respect for the diverse voices and talents within our team.
