Senior Frontend Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Create and develop the visualization platform that underpins TRM’s investigative interfaces, featuring graph exploration and extensive data visualization.

• Construct high-performance rendering systems utilizing technologies like Canvas, WebGL, and GPU-accelerated rendering to depict intricate datasets.

• Develop reusable visualization libraries, SDKs, and foundational platform components that empower teams across TRM to create impactful data exploration experiences.

• Engage in technical design discussions and code reviews to enhance architecture, performance, and maintainability.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of crypto and blockchain investigation workflows to guide product design and platform functionalities.

• Contribute to shaping the future of data exploration tools utilized by investigators and financial institutions globally.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid foundations in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience in developing large-scale frontend systems.

• Proven experience in creating data-rich web applications, such as analytics platforms, visualization tools, or mapping systems.

• Practical experience with Canvas, WebGL, or GPU-accelerated rendering.

• Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as D3, PixiJS, Three.js, or comparable tools.

• Background in building or working with graph/network visualization systems, utilizing tools like D3-force, Cytoscape.js, vis.js, Sigma.js, or similar.

• Knowledge of graph layouts including force-directed, hierarchical, or radial layouts.

• Experience in optimizing performance in complex user interfaces through methods such as virtualization, viewport culling, Web Workers, and rendering optimizations for large datasets.

• Experience in designing reusable frontend systems, SDKs, component libraries, or developer platforms.

• Strong principles of computer science, encompassing data structures and algorithmic reasoning.

• Proficiency with React and contemporary frontend frameworks.
