Senior Frontend Engineer, Portfolio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of designing and delivering essential Portfolio experiences, such as balances, holdings, and PnL, across web platforms utilizing React/TypeScript as well as native iOS and Android mobile applications.

• Create high-performance, accessible, and pixel-perfect UI that renders real-time financial data at the scale of Coinbase.

• Collaborate with backend, design, and product teams to transform vague problems from initial scoping through to production deployment.

• Lead frontend architecture and quality initiatives, focusing on component reusability, state management, testing, and performance monitoring.

• Elevate the engineering standards through code reviews, providing technical guidance, and documenting architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in frontend engineering, specifically in building consumer-facing web applications with high-quality, thoroughly tested production code.

• Extensive expertise in React and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of modern frontend principles, including state management, rendering efficiency, and accessibility.

• Proven experience in shipping and managing complex features from start to finish in production, preferably in financial, trading, or other data-driven applications.

• Familiarity with developing real-time or high-throughput user interfaces.

• Experience working with backend APIs, including REST and GraphQL.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with design and product teams to influence product outcomes.

• Responsible utilization of generative AI under human supervision.
